Console History

First console was the original NES. Favorite games were Mario, Zelda, Paperboy

Then, Original Gameboy. Of course Tetris was the game, but also Mario Land (1+2), Metroid, Link's Awakening!!

Next console was SNES. I remember my daycare had one too, and we would always play Super Mario World! Favorite games were Mario World, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, Earthworm Jim, too many to list!

Next console was a PS2. Played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Pizza Hut Demo Disc until my hands bled. PS2 is a legendary console and I played stuff like GTA3!

Next console was Gamecube. This was college days, and our dorm room was a Super Smash Bros Melee gathering place. Hundreds of hours in Melee alone. Other good games: Mario Sunshine, Windwaker, Animal Crossing

Sometime in here I had a Gameboy Advance, which I mostly played Mario Kart and Tony Hawk on

After this the next consoles I got were in Japan..
Wii (Japanese version), fave games were Super Smash Bros Brawl (100%'ed this), Mario Galaxy (top 3 Mario game of all time)

Xbox 360 (Japanese version), in Japan land of Playstation the Xbox was VERY VERY unpopular! But it was really good for some weird, obscure, "indie" type Japanese games! Loved the Xbox Live Arcade! I remember playing Ridge Racer 6, Dead Rising (amazing game!), and Ikaruga

Nintendo DS (Japanese). Played Brain Age in Japanese mostly! Also beat Dragon Quest 9 in Japanese!

After this I kind of changed to PC gaming. The next console I got was a 3DS when I moved back to America. That was an Animal Crossing New Leaf machine!

Around this time I was also PC gaming on a laptop. So soon built a gaming PC and basically stopped getting consoles..

Digital History

I'm a pre-digital person. I can remember playing outside, watching tv, and passing time before the Internet.
Started using AOL in 93 or 94, grew up on EFNet on IRC, had some sort of web presence for most of my life.
My dad always had computers even before that in the 80's.
Pre-internet we played early pc games, connected to BBS's, used 5.25" floppy discs.
One of the earliest PC games I can remember playing is Lemmings (lol) in the 80's

I remember upgrading from my very first PC, a 486, to a pentium, upgrading from 14.4 to 28.8 to 56k dialup modem
Installing DOOM off of multiple 3.5" floppy disks.
Playing DOOM2 multiplayer deathmatch over dialup with middle school friends.
Hexen and Heretic. Rise of the Triad. Duke Nukem 3d. Quake.
Shareware and ftp.cdrom.com
DOS , 3.1, Win95

My dad always gave me his "old" computer when he upgraded to a new one.
So mine was always about 1-2 years out of date :)
Dad LOVED Ultima Online, played that for YEARS
He also loved Diablo and D2
Growing up I watched him play so many classic CRPGs such as every Ultima and Might & Magic
So I was Raised on CRPGs, but am truly an FPS fan at heart
Never played WoW or any MMORPG because, those are my dad's games
