How grammatically correct! Who wrote that? Oh... me.
Let's see. My name is Ryan. I am a college kid.
I am Korean. I was adopted when I was about five months old. So I don't know any Korean or anything. I do, however, know a little Japanese.
I was in Badgemen when we were together. I played rhythm guitar. I don't think I'm that bad at guitar, just not extraordinarily good. If you ask for a Badgemen CD real nice, I'll probably send one to you.
I'm an anime nerd in recovery.
I swam for 4 years in high school. Went to districts every year, but never to state =\ Casey Lister and I were about equal. He beat me in the 100 fly by .04 seconds.
and I like exposing myself online, just because in real life there's no way I could... unless it was around people I knew well (read: I'm shy).
I love: music, movies, video games, computers, and basically everything.
I love all kinds of music. My guilty pleasure music is J-pop (momusu!). Check the music section for more varied tastes.
I love all kinds of movies, but enjoy HK and other non-Hollywood movies the most. I love Maggie Cheung especially. I also like John Woo, Tsui Hark, Wong Jing, and Wong Kar-Wai. Love!
Video games... well, I'm a Playstation boy. I used to be a Nintendo boy. I might get Gamecube, though. I do have a Gameboy Advance, after all. I am master of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. MASTER! YOU HEAR THAT SCOTT AND WHOEVER ELSE WANTS TO CHALLENGE ME?! Once, I won a competition for Saturn Bomberman. I'm just that dang good.
Computers... well, I've been using computers since I was in like, 6th grade or something. My old 486 with a 14.4 modem. Ah, I remember those days. I used to IRC *a lot*, but don't so much anymore other than to get files. I am an internet nerd, get on every day religiously. My aim is Milphy Yu. Talk to me.
And, everything else? Yeah, I like lots of other stuff. Ask me sometime. I'll be sure to ramble on and on. Sort of like I am right now...
I look like I am 12. Sometimes I feel like I'm 12, sometimes I feel like I am 42. I wish I was 5, that would be fun.
My dad bought himself a webcam. Then, he bought a new computer that came with a webcam. Yay! That means I get it! I played with it for a few minutes while installing the software, and out came a few pictures of me. I thought I should put some pictures up of me with my long(er) hair. Actually, I thought I should put some pictures up period. So, here they are. Click away.
"Now that you put the music section up, shouldn't this be moved there?" you ask. NO! I like it here.
A song that I like a lot.
Al's War by Less Than Jake
Al said goodbye to his mom and dad for the first time in his life
tonight left the house and walked out to the waiting car outside
and somehow he thought they'd never understand that nothing lasts
and he just knows that time is just spinning by
and life is passing him by so fast
And sometimes I think I'm the only one
that feels like going nowhere is like giving up
Al said to me a few days ago
that he just thought for the first time in his life
he feels the last 10 years were only a waste of time
and that it was only a compromise of what he always felt inside
his declaration of independence
said to me under the orange street lights
he was the one
who always did the right thing
he was the one that listened to everything they'd say
but today he's never going back
Just a survey to find out some more about the elusive me.
