the best dream I have ever had

I'm one of those people who regularly remembers his dreams. I hardly ever have dreams where I'm having sex. I just usually have weird messed up dreams where we go to Adventureland and I shoot movie screens and stuff like that. This dream was awesome. Here it is:

The dream started out with me going to pick up a girl. Let's call her Anna. I actually know this girl in real life, since 10th grade or so. I have had a little (or big, depending on the time) crush on her ever since... so I knew this dream was going to be good! Even though I have liked her for so long, it's probably the first time she has ever appeared in one of my dreams. Strange, but true. Anyways, I was going to pick her up take her to a concert at Frank's House of Rock. I arrived at her house, and rang the doorbell, but nobody answered. Then, I waited around for a bit and rang again. She came to the door and looked like she had just woken up. I felt really bad, but she said not to worry. Oh well. So off we went.

I guess we had all forgiven Frank's for their horrible sins against us. Anyways, the band that was playing was Sparta, an offshoot of At the Drive-in and a band that is actually playing in Des Moines next month. Greg told me about that yesterday, which is probably why they were there. Anyways, back to the dream. We go to Franks and Sparta is playing, but the singer from ex-Murder City Devils is singing for them. Weird. I get my picture taken with him. There were a lot of people there, Eric, Ryan, Greg, Daren, and Anna.

As the concert got underway, I shoved myself to the front and Daren was there. We talked a little, and then Sparta took the stage. Then, Sparta left the stage and this old Motown band took the stage. Daren was like "this sucks, I'm outta here" so I followed him too. We went to play videogames. I don't know what exactly happened after this, but Anna went downstairs (there actually is no downstairs to Frank's, but now there was) to sleep.

I guess my dream must have fast forwarded after this because I don't remember Sparta playing, but I was at home and it was after the concert. Both of my parents were asleep and Ryan, Greg, Josh G. (who wasn't at the show?) and Daren were all going to camp out in front of my house. Like, with tents and everything. Then, I remembered Anna. Was she still asleep there?! I had given her a ride there, and must have forgotten about her. I called up Frank's and luckily someone answered the phone. I asked if there were still people there, and he said "yes". Then, I was suddenly talking to someone else, and I go "what just happened? I was just talking to somebody else!" Not important, but still weird.

So I go to Frank's and there are a lot of people just hanging out after the show. I run in, and downstairs, and Anna is sleeping on a couch. But, there is this JERK that want's to get with her! He sits down beside her. As I walk in she drowsily wakes up, but the JERK is still there. So I sit down inbetween her and the jerk and ask her if she's ready to leave. We both get up to leave, and the JERK throws a little yellow ball at the back of her head. I escort Anna out of the room and quickly turn back in. The JERK has made a big mistake! (This is the kind of guy I wish I was, I guess) I throw the ball at his face, and yell at him, "YOU will NEVER do that again!" and then he gets up and confronts me. He is bigger and stronger than me, but I still knock him out cold with a left hook! Boo-yah!

Ah, so Anna is outside and still tired, so I offer to carry her on my back. This is where the dream gets "touching" so grab your box of Kleenex. Or maybe your vomit-bag. Anna is on my back and I'm carrying her upstairs (which is a lot further away now than it was before). I walk around, and she suddenly says, "Do you like me?" OF COURSE! Geez, for years and years. Well, after that she puts her face on my shoulder, with her cheek touching mine, and it's the best feeling in the world. I walked around with Anna on my back for the longest time- I didn't want this to end! But eventually we walk out of Frank's and go home.

There was a lot more to the dream, like the same scene re-enacted except I didn't have a car this time (?) and another part where Anna and I went shopping, and she wanted a ring but I was too poor to afford one! She didn't care though. *sigh* That dream was awesome.
